Buy at the expense of fundamentally understanding the concept but not the actual prep for MCAT

Compared to princeton review books, this is way more simple and basic for you to pick up and learn quicker. Because what the princeton does is, it combines other sciences like biochem and organic chemistry into the chapters so now you have to pick little pieces here and there to try to grasp the information. Kaplan really breaks it down fundamentally, but is it good prep for MCAT ? no not really because it doesn't go in depth and there are no passage based questions. But to get in the flow of it and gain confidence in grasping the material? I would definitely recommend this book!

Great book! I think it's really helpful to prepare for MCAT for the biology section. Thanks Kaplan! I would recommend it for pre meds who are preparing for MCAT. It has lots of pictures and explanations.
